Dance Forms offered at Azarian Gymnastics:

Ballet
- Ballet is the basis for all dance forms meaning a dance style employing conventional steps and gestures set in intricate and flowing patterns.
Jazz - Jazz is a ballet based to bast music.
Tap - Tap is characterized by rapid tapping of the toes and heels in shoes with metal taps using jazz movements.
Hip Hop - Hip Hop is a more isolated style of jazz, with sharp accents and lots of style. Set to funky popular music.
Creative Movement - This class will introduce young dancers to the basics of dance positions and music in a way that will spark their creativity. Every class will touch on three dance forms: tap, jazz and ballet.
Adult Dance Forms (Tap & Jazz) - For the dancers in all of us. Adult Dance Forms improves your flexibility, strength and coordination with a jazz stretch that includes balllet, yoga and Pilates movements. This combination class of jazz and tap will be adjusted for dancers at all levels. Come have fun and bring your tap shoes.

 P.E. Classes for HomeSchooled Children

Azarian Gymnastics is dedicated to improving the health and fitness of all children in the South Orange County area. We recognize the need for home-schooled children to fulfill their Physical Education requirements.  Our Gymnastics and Fitnastics classes are ideal for this purpose.
Both Gymnastics and Fitnastics increase self-esteem, confidence, and goal-setting and listening skills, while helping children develop the physical ability which enhances other sports.

Gymnastics helps develop the whole child by building and improving coordination, agility, strength, flexibility, and balance, while providing enormous psychological benefits.
The Fitnastics program includes stretching, aerobic activity and exercise with a trained instructor.  The classes result in increased physical activity, fitness, nutrition awareness, and social interaction with peers. Fitnastics is medically and professionally designed to solve one of the fastest growing problems in America today:  childhood obesity. See the Fitnastics Program for more details.

Our homeschool classes are specifically offered during early hours to accommodate the homeschool parent’s needs.
